Materials used in the construction of wooden houses

There are moments when a barely audible inner voice is heard in the depths of each person. As a rule, we do not know for sure what he is talking about, but something tells – this is the voice of nature, the voice of our ancestors, our long -forgotten past. He makes us think that since ancient times belonged to a person: about the fresh air, dense forests, crystal clear water. The voice tells us to go away from civilization, modern technologies and artificial materials, to environmentally friendly dwells – wooden houses.

From the very origin of civilization, the tree was one of the main building materials. The first log wooden houses began to appear in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia about 3.000 years ago. Over time, the technology for building log cabins was improved and spread through the continents, but one rule was always unchanged – each wall of the house consists of a whole tree.

Over time, modern technologies have changed the process of manufacturing wooden houses. In most cases, the tree is subjected to mechanical processing, whether it be yielding on machines or sawing and gluing into a beam. All these technologies have their advantages and disadvantages. The most widespread in our time was the erection of houses from a rounded log or timber.

The construction of wooden houses involves the use of both deciduous and conifers. In Russia and Ukraine, preference is given to houses from conifers.

Due to its rounded shape, the galled logs are quite tightly coasted, and the same diameter and very high quality processing of the surface of such logs allow you not to finish them.

During the construction of houses, laying logs is carried out on a flax fiber or pacli. Synthetic materials, which are now widely used by many firms, is strongly not recommended to use. The wood is subjected to special treatment with a natural environmentally friendly antiseptic. After the walls of the house are erected again opened by an antiseptic that protects the wood from moisture.

Particular attention should be paid to heating your future home. An ideal option for wooden houses is the redevelopment and refusal of the gas heating system and the use of thermal resources available on our planet, that is, the energy of the sun. The leading world scientists developed a heat pump, with the help of which accumulated solar energy is extracted.

Heating pumps for heating are environmentally friendly salt-driving units operating on the principle of heat transfer from a low-potential source (heat of earth’s subsoil, soil heat, heat of seas, lakes, artesian and groundwater) to a higher temperature with a higher temperature. Heat pump is a universal device, since it applies to almost any thermal wire heating system. In order to heat the room with dimensions of 10×10 meters, it is necessary to make investments worth about 5 thousand euros. The installation of heating boilers in such cases is calculated individually, and directly depends on the source of heat.
