Liquid flooring at your home: beautiful and hygienic

What is a bulk floor?

Floor coatings made of polymeric materials based on polyurethane or epoxy resin are called liquid floors. They are distinguished by self -enforcing properties, they are able to smooth themselves, as a result of which a smooth and strong surface is formed. The bulk floors are practical, they have no seams and joints, and are also attractive.

Types of bulk floors.

The type of floor is determined by the incoming fastening component. So, there are cement-acrylic floors that are made from dry mixture and water. Epoxy floors are a mixture of epoxy resin and a ready tinted or colorless polymer, which, after hardening and drying, forms a very strong and durable surface, finally, polyurethane bulk floors that differ in a light strong and beautiful structure. These are the most common bulk floors, since they are able to withstand any loads, have dirt – and dusting properties, differ in a wide color scheme, allow the inclusion of decorative elements and special effects, including 3D images. In addition, uniform thin coatings look very promising.

Where to use a bulk floor.

The bulk floor is used in buildings of various purpose. Most often it is used in corridors and landings, a lobby and halls of administrative and public buildings, including airports and railway stations, in trading buildings, cafes and restaurants, exhibition halls, theaters, in schools, in workshops in factories and factories, as well as in residential buildings and apartments and household premises.

Every year, the scope of bulk flooring is expanding, since they are universal, hygienic and environmentally friendly. In the apartment, such floors are most common as a kitchen and corridor option, but gradually designers find excellent use with liquid floors in living rooms, bathrooms and even bedrooms, not to mention balconies and halls.

Advantages of bulk floors.

In addition to the environmental friendliness and hygiene, which were mentioned above, it is worth noting large advantages in appearance. Unlike tiles or parquet, which leave noticeable visual joints, the bulk of the bulk is a smooth floor and does not have a single zabrin. There is no place in it to get stuck like a tile, it will unexpectedly darken like a parquet, does not rot like a tree and will not cover the bubbles from the water like a laminate. It is not for nothing that these floors are used in industry and the construction of buildings, such as shopping centers – these are strong and reliable floors. With the improvement of technologies and the ability to decorate them for any color solutions (including 3D images), such floors began to be used in the home interior.
