Sound insulating materials.

Когда воздушный шум в пространстве встречает препятствие, это вызывает его колебания. Some part of the noise is absorbed and reflected by this obstacle, which, by the way, can become any partition, wall or floor, and the rest of the room penetrates into other rooms. Sound insulation is often necessary for a comfortable stay and indoors. In large rooms, such as halls, airport buildings and stations, and so on, many noise sources, one is superimposed on the other, which leads to the illegible of speech, increasing the overall level of noise and other unpleasant effects. This happens because an echo or reverberation appears, in large rooms it is too long, in small, on the contrary, too short. In order to align the reverb level, soundproofing and sound -absorbing materials are used. But there is a way to stop the noise and prevent it from leaving the room. Attempts to achieve such an effect by increasing the thickness and density of the building structure are meaningless and economically costly. The only right solution is the use of special soundproofing materials that do not have a “critical” frequency in the frequency of the frequency range (20 Hz – 20 kHz). It is better if they are used in two layers. Also, soundproofing material should have a density of 1 t/m3. If you want to provide good sound insulation, then it is worth knowing that the material itself, for example, the concrete block does not have soundproofing characteristics, and if you build a wall from such blocks, then isolation from sounds will be provided. All soundproofing materials can be divided into two types:

– Sound -absorbing

– Sound -reflective.

As a rule, in the manufacture of a soundproof structure, it is customary to use one and the other. In general, in acoustics it is customary to alternate sound -refracting and sound -absorbing layers to increase the properties of materials used to isolate the sound. Sound -insulating materials, unlike sound -absorbing, are installed in the form of cushioning layers in the structure, so that they are not visible. They are located between the outer shells and are located in free, and sometimes even in limbo. Layered structures are formed from several layers that differ from each other density and rigidity, so the best sound insulation is achieved.
