Warm glass

Each of us wants the house to be cozy and warm, so that the temperature is comfortable and in the summer, in heat and heat, and in winter, in the cold and frost. There are several conditions that help create comfort in the house. One of them is proper glazing.

More than 70% of the cost of heat supply in winter takes to heal and condition (t. e. bring to the optimal state) air. Of course, most of this energy simply “goes into the pipe”, that is, it serves for heating the street, because due to the poor thermal insulation system (for example, the external decoration of the cottage is not good enough) heats out with warm air or due to too large thermal conductivity. To prevent this, use a special type of double -glazed windows, designed to reduce heat loss. However, there are several other ways to save heat in the house.

It will be difficult to reduce heat loss through the window if you do not find the cause of air loss through the window structure. There are several reasons why the heat engineering characteristics of the window are worsening: poor thermal conductivity of glass or poor quality of the material; Air movement through the cracks in the structure; radiation passing through the window. To establish the temperature regime in the house, you need to take into account these factors during the glazing of the home.

To reduce heat loss through the window, you need to increase the number of glasses in the design of the double-glazed window to three to four. If the loss of heat from the house is associated with the movement of air, then it is necessary to check how hermetically glazing. Make the glass hermetically adjacent to the sample, and then the losses will be minimal. This can be done using a sealant (this task can be entrusted to workers if you carry out apartments without intermediaries).

Infrared radiation is the reason for almost 70% heat loss. If you need to protect yourself from these losses, then you need to install energy -saving glass. A thin metal oxide film is applied to it, contributing to the reflection of rays back into the living room. Most often, silver or aluminum is used for glazing of this kind, in rare cases – gold.

Sunlight entering the room heats up furniture, as well as household appliances. When it becomes colder, furniture with devices begins to give heat, which will go through the glass, and they will prevent this. In summer, such glasses will not pass infrared radiation home, which will significantly reduce the expenses of the air conditioner.

There are several types of energy -saving glasses – K -glass and and – glass – differing in the technology by which they are produced, as well as cost and other properties.
