Carrots to all of us a well -known vegetable. But not everyone knows how much can be prepared from it for storage. Here are some of them.
Carrot seasonings
Composition: carrots – 1 kg, sea buckthorn juice – 1 cup, sugar – 0.5 cups, garlic – 3 heads, salt – 0.5 teaspoon.
Carrots must be washed well, clean and chop coarsely. Then pour it with water (small amounts), add sugar. Be at all ready.
Wipe hot boiled carrots through a sieve, cool. Then add garlic, finely chopped, sea buckthorn, salt and sugar to carrots. Mix everything thoroughly.
Prepare small jars and shift the seasoning in them.
Store in the refrigerator or in the basement.
Carrots in Korean (acute)
Composition: carrots-1 kilogram, table vinegar-4.5 tablespoons, sugar-2-3 tablespoons, table salt-1 tablespoon, ground black pepper-1 teaspoon, vegetable oil-half a glass, garlic-1 head, Onions – 1 piece.
Carrots must be wiped on a coarse grater, salted and sprayed with vinegar. Mix and leave for 40 minutes.
Peel and crush garlic. Add spices, sugar and garlic in grated carrots.
Fry the onion in vegetable oil to black. Then dial the onion oil and pour carrots to them. Mix everything well and compact. Leave for the whole night so that the carrots are marrots.
In the morning, carrots should be transferred to glass jars, closed with nylon lids and removed for storage in a cellar or refrigerator.
Tomato paste made of carrots and zucchini
Composition: 500 grams of carrots, 1 kilogram of tomatoes, 2 kilograms of zucchini, 100 grams of vegetable oil, 500 grams of onions, table salt is added to taste.
Cooked carrots need to chop largely, clean and cook all other products. Scroll tomatoes, zucchini and onions through a meat grinder, mix this minced meat with carrots. Add vegetable oil and salt to all this. Mix everything well again.
Put the whole mass on a baking sheet and place in the oven for boiling. Cook – 40 minutes.
Prepare and sterilize banks. Pour boiling vegetable mass in them and immediately roll up with tin lids.
Carrots with apples and sea buckthorn juice
Composition: 1 kilogram of carrots, 1 kilogram of apples, 500 grams of sea buckthorn juice, 500 grams of granulated sugar.
Wash the carrots with apples in water, clean, removing the peel. The core should be removed from apples. Cut into pieces of medium size. Mix, pour sea buckthorn juice and add sugar, mix the whole mass again.
Then put the mixture on the stove, bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
Pour the finished mixture into cooked jars, roll up and leave to cool. Store in a cool and dark place.
Carrots, apples and horseradish salad (canned)
Composition: carrots, sour apples and horseradish – to taste.
Grate the cooked carrots and roots of horseradish. Out of apples, take out the core, clean and also grate on a grater.
Mix everything together and transfer to banks. Filled jars should be poured with pre -prepared brine.
Preparation of brine at the rate per 1 liter of water: salt-60-80 grams, sugar-80-100 grams, vinegar 10 percent-200 grams.
Cover the filled jars with lids, put for sterilization in a container of water. Sterilize up to 10 minutes with a small boil. Then close the lids and put it cool.
Store in a cool and dark place in the refrigerator or basement.
