Why gas stoves are better than electric?

There are significant reasons why almost all restaurants still use gas stoves, not electric. Although home cooking does not require the same productivity from household appliances that professional chefs require, it can be found that it is easier to work with a gas stove, and it gives better results than its electric counterpart. There is a whole assortment of reasons to make a choice in favor of gas over electricity.

Of course, initially it is worth remembering that not all apartment buildings and farms are equipped with access to gas. The gas supply of private households requires special equipment and a master for its maintenance, in fact, as for individual houses. In addition, with gas you need to work carefully and not allow its leaks. However, gas is cheaper for the operation of not only the stoves, but also many other home devices. The price parameter, of course, depends on the type of gas and changes in the market, but it always turns out to be more profitable than expensive electricity.

The gas stove offers a greater range of control over what is happening to your food. The adjustment of temperatures on the gas stove occurs immediately, and not gradually (the electric plate needs to warm up and cool). For the preparation of many dishes, the level of control is of great importance. You can also easily see the level of heat, looking at the flame, which allows you to be more accurate.

Gas stoves, as a rule, have a lesser contribution to the change in the temperature indoors. Even after a day of cooking on a gas stove, the temperature in the kitchen will not particularly increase, but the hourly culinary marathon on an electric stove will lead to heating the room.

Gas stoves work even when electricity turns off. This is a certain plus for people who live in areas with unreliable power sources.

The upper part of the plate heats less than in electric plates, which reduces the risk of burns.

Historically, gas stoves are more criticized, since they are supposedly complicated in circulation and are less accurate than electric. Nevertheless, modern gas stoves are devices of high performance, which are not only inferior to the qualities of an electric stove, but also in certain parameters they even surpass.

If you think to move from an electric stove to gas, installing equipment for supplying gas, then we advise you to immediately think about the transition to gas water heaters and a gas heating system. Once you have already connected to the gas pipeline or have acquired a personal gas supply system, it will be profitable for you to transfer several systems to gas simultaneously. The transition from electric heating to gas heating, for example, will save you a significant amount of money.
